Dr appt update!

I had another dr appt! I had to get the rhogam shot and glucose (diabetes) test...good times...haha it wasnt bad. The stuff you have to drink is not bad at all. I got the orange and it tasted like orange pop that was really sweet so I didnt think it tasted bad. I mean I prolly couldnt drink more than a cup of it but it was fine. I also had to get blood drawn twice... and the shot was in my hip. lol

I had my regular dr. appt in between which only lasted like 10 minutes lol. My blood pressure was checked which was normal :) and she measured me with the measuring tape (the length up) and I am right where I should be and then I got to hear Drew's heartbeat :D I always love that! Its the coolest! She said it was in the 140s which is normal right now. So overall, it was a good apt! I am so thankful!

God is so good! I thank God everyday for this blessing and pray for a healthy baby :) Thank you for your continued prayers!

Pregnancy Update

I had my OB doctor appt today! I guesss my stomach is measuring right where I need to be (24 weeks) so maybe I am not a week ahead, but it doesnt matter anyways :) The same "due date" Jan. 10.. I also got to hear Drew's heartbeat :) That is always amazing! He said it was in the 150s which is normal... everything is looking fine, praise the Lord :) My next appt is Oct 22 when I am 28 weeks and I have to get the Rhogam shot (cuz I have A negative blood) and diabetes glucose test during that visit...fun stuff haha I have gained a total of 7 lbs since I have been pregnant. He said that was fine. He first asked if I have been eating and drinking and I was like YEAH :) It is exciting to have a baby! hehe

On a different note, last night was aweful though. I was up all night with a terrible terrible migraine to which I threw up twice...I still have it a little but not TERRIBLE..but please pray that it will go away completely and not have to deal with more of these...thanks!

22 week ultrasound!

I had my official ultrasound!! It was confirmed that we are having a boy so that is exciting :) It was also sooo cool to see my baby again..moving around...etc ! It was soo cool! He is an active little guy! Getting bigger and bigger! He is 1 lb 9 oz! hehe ...Everything looked great and his heartbeat was good...it is cool seeing that on the ultrasound! She said his legs and feet were right by my bladder! NO WONDER I pee all the time!! lol especially after I feel him kick a lot! haha That is amazing to feel him kick...it makes me feel good too that he is moving around!

So I dont know if everyone who reads this knows but the baby's name is Andrew Nicholas :) and I like the name Drew :)

Also, for student teaching!!! That is going well..I will teach my first lessons next week. I will be teaching Bible next week!! I am kinda nervous! Thanks!!!

21 weeks and counting...

I have an appt on Wed. the 3rd for the official ultrasound at my dr's office! :) I am sooo excited to see my baby again moving around! Speaking of moving around...I feel my babe moving around a lot!!! It is the coolest thing to feel him kicking! I know I have talked about this before but it is an amazing feeling! Nick has felt him kick now! (for the first time the other day.) It was early in the morning before we went to the school for meetings this week... after I got up to pee for the hundredth time ya know...I layed back down on my back and he started kicking! I grabbed Nick's hand and put it on my belly! HE FELT IT! :) He said "ya, its cool." haha . He is such a guy but he is excited... =)

On a different note, student teaching starts on TUES! First day of school!! I am a little overwhelmed and nervous but excited I guess haha ...I am gonna be so tired! In addition to just student teaching, being pregnant adds to it! haha ALSO, having to pee all the time will be interesting lol...

That is going on right now in my life....I have a few prayer requests.., #1 my great aunt is dying of cancer...so pray for her for peace and love...etc....#2 my student teaching...and #3 as always...the baby! :)

Baby growing and moving

I am at 19 weeks pregnant now! :) Cant believe I am like 1/2 way through my pregnancy already!!! I have felt the baby move toooO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was sooo exciting! However, at first I did not know what it was...it is very hard to explain and a lot of people explain it differently...sometimes it felt like ripples in my stomach but I have also felt like a pressure or something pushing against my skin from the other side...HAHAHA that is the best I can do in describing what it felt like...now I want to feel him all the time!....i think "is he still moving???" lol and I cant wait to get the official ultrasound so I can see him again ....and hear his heartbeat!! I wish I could watch him all the time!

The sucky thing is right now I have a bad cold...well REALLY bad sinus pressure/pain/congestion!!!!!!!!!!! it is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! my throat kills and everything....PLEASE PRAY FOR ME.... i might sound like a baby lol but I am miserable! :(

DR appt

I had a dr appt...got to hear the hearbeat again today....that is always nice :) and the dr said the baby was moving around alot and that he sounded good :) That is nice to hear as well! So I have my next appt Aug 26 and she said then I can have an ultrasound...the funny thing is she was like "you are 16 1/2 weeks. You dont get an ultrasound til 20 weeks!" haha so have to wait for that...(even tho i got one already) hehehehehe :) It is so good to know my baby is doing fine...I pray everyday for him...

No morning sickness!!!!!!

I havent thrown up in over a week now!!!!!! :) PRAISE THE LORD :) I think now I will be feeling better... with morning sickness anyways...

It still seems surreal that we are having a boy but I am soo excited! There is still a tiny part of me that is like "what if it isnt a boy and we think it is and told everyone?" but i dont know what else that part would be in the ultrasound :) It is just so amazing that there is a little person growing inside me...It is crazy that he moved around so much in the ultrasound but I cant feel him moving yet.

It is hard to explain what I feel about all this...it is just so awesome that God blessed us with this baby. I pray everyday for the baby that he is growing and developing normally and healthy and continues to have a strong heartbeat :) God is in control!
